How to create a new product

Please ensure you are already signed in.

1. Navigate to mdplant.ie/wp-admin
2. Hover over “Products” on the left-hand side and click on “All Products”.
3. Find the truck category of the product you would like to add. E.G “Dump Trucks”, “Wheel Loaders” etc
4. Under the category click on “Duplicate”
5. Change the following elements:
6. The title – This is the name of the product
7. The slug – This is the URL of the product (The name of the product for Chrome/Firefox)
8. Machine Details
9. The product Image – This is the main image, this image will appear in the product listings.
10. Featured Images – These are the rest of the images for the product. These will appear under the main image on the product page.
11. Double check that all elements have been changed and when you are happy press the “Publish” button.

How to edit an existing product

There are two ways that you can edit a product – Please ensure you are already signed in.

A)

1. Navigate to mdplant.ie/wp-admin
2. Hover over “Products” on the left-hand side and click on “All Products”.
3. Find the product you would like to edit.
4. Under the category click on “Edit”
5. Edit elements and click on “Update”

B)

1. Navigate to the product that you wish to edit. E.G
2. Click on “Edit product” on top of the page.
3. Edit elements and click on “Update”
